Wimbledon Transfers

The Championships are played at the All England Lawn Tennis Club in south-west London over two weeks in early summer. Many visitors fly in for the tournament or travel out from a hotel in town for a day of play; a private car avoids the crowded trains and gets you close to the grounds.

Drop-off and pickup

Roads around the grounds are busy during the Championships and traffic management changes from year to year. The driver drops you at the nearest point allowed. For the way back, agree a pickup point a short walk from the grounds and add a phone number; end of play depends on the matches, so book a time you can keep or call us if it changes.

Dates

The Championships take place every year in late June and early July. Check the official dates for your year before booking.

Vehicles

A sedan takes four passengers and three large suitcases, a First Class Sedan the same in a quieter car, a van six passengers and four large suitcases, a First Class Van six and five, and a minibus up to 16 passengers and 10 large suitcases.

For a group going together, one van or minibus usually costs less than several taxis and keeps the group together.
